Collective Worship
Collective Worship is at the heart of our school community and plays a central role in our mission to nurture pupils in the Catholic faith. At St Michael’s, worship is a special time when we come together to reflect, pray, and grow in our relationship with God. It is rooted in the Gospel values of love, tolerance and forgiveness, and helps children understand how these values guide their daily lives. Collective Worship allows pupils to celebrate God’s presence, express gratitude, and deepen their understanding of Scripture and the teachings of Jesus. It is an opportunity for all children to participate through prayer, song, reflection, and shared liturgy, helping them develop spiritually and recognise their unique place in God’s family.
Each year group experiences Collective Worship in meaningful, age‑appropriate ways, giving pupils the space to explore faith, spirituality, and the world around them.
